CFB: Defense Shines in UNI Spring Game

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa The University of Northern Iowa football program wrapped up the spring season with their annual Spring Game presented by Tyson today inside the UNI-Dome. The defense was victorious, defeating the offense 45-40.

JVeyon Browning finished with 50 yards on the ground during the first half, including a 24-yard rushing touchdown. Brion Carnes also linked up with Isaac Lintz for a 14-yard touchdown reception, which was set up by a great 32-yard catch by Cody McCoy.
