Road Work Comes to an End

MARION. IA (CBS2/FOX28) - After years of work, a major roadway in Marion will open up Friday morning. Today (Friday) The Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the South 11th Street Project.
That area has been under construction for three years - the work was to complete the street from Grand Ave. to 1st Ave.
The 3.4 million dollar project included new street lights, a water main installation, utilities and sidewalks.
The road will officially open to traffic after the ceremony at 11 a.m.
