Hibu Annouces Second Round of Layoffs

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (CBS2/FOX28) - A Cedar Rapids business is cutting jobs for the second time this year.

Friday, Hibu announced it was laying off 44 employees. The company let 184 employees go in April.

The company announced it started financial restructuring in March.

In January, The England-based company placed six U.S. subsidiaries into Chapter 15 bankruptcy protection. The company listed more than $1 Billion in both liabilities and assets.
