Three Sentenced in Roundtree Murder
CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- Three men charged in the shooting death of a Cedar Rapids teen now know how long they will spend behind bars.
Today, a judge sentenced men who were involved in the shooting of 19-year-old Latasha Roundtree.
Jeremiah Ellis received a 27-year sentence for the shooting and an added probation violation.
Liban and Yasin Muhidin were both given 10 years.
Roundtree was shot and killed outside a party in September of 2012.
The three men agreed to take a plea deal in exchange for their testimony against the man that fired the gun, Tajh Ross.
Ross was found guilty this month.
He is currently awaiting sentencing.
