No Evidence of Intent in NASCAR Death

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. (CBS2/FOX28) - Police say there is no evidence that says NASCAR driver Tony Stewart meant to crash into another driver and kill him.
Saturday night, Stewart hit and killed Kevin Ward Jr. while competing in a dirt-track race in upstate New York.
Video shows ward's sprint car hit a wall during lap 14, after apparently being cut off by tony Stewart’s car.
Ward then got out of his car and, began walking into the oncoming traffic obviously angry about what had just happened.
One car swerved to miss him and then Stewart’s car hit him and ward was killed.
Stewart released a statement on NASCAR’s Twitter account saying "There aren't words to describe the sadness I feel about the accident that took the life of Kevin Ward Jr. thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and everyone affected by this tragedy."
Police say Stewart is cooperating with the investigation, and no charges have been filed.
