Names Released in CR Shooting

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (CBS2/FOX28) -- The Cedar Rapids Police Department has released the names of two people injured in a shooting Monday evening in Cedar Rapids.

It happened around 6:30 PM in the 1400-block of Wilson Avenue SW.

Delmos Scott, 23, of Cedar Rapids, went to Mercy Medical Center with a graze wound to his scalp.

Patrick Richmond, 30, of Temple, Texas, went to St. Luke's Hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg.

Both injuries are considered to be non-life threatening.

Police believe, based on witness interviews, that two vehicles were involved and that individuals in both vehicles were exchanging gunfire.
