Plane Makes Emergency Landing

WATERLOO, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- Deputies in Black Hawk County say a single-engine airplane had to make an emergency landing on an area road.

It happened Saturday evening, just before 8:00 PM.  According to a press-release, two people were on board the plane which was en route to Oshkosh, Wisconsin when its engine failed, forcing the pilot to emergency land on Gresham Road near Wagner Road.

Neither of the airplane's occupants were hurt and the aircraft received no damage. However, it did have to be towed to the Waterloo Municipal Airport.
