Branstad and Hatch at Odds on Immigration

DES MOINES, IA (CBS2/FOX28) Governor Branstad and Senator Jack Hatch are at odds when it comes to illegal children crossing the border.
Last week, we reported that the Governor says he does not want any of those children living in Iowa and on Monday, he stood by those remarks.
Under the law children who are refugees are sent to live with relatives in America until the government can figure out what to do with them.
Branstad  says he doesn't consider those children refugees and notes that other governors share his views on the topic.
But hatch has a different view.
Hatch says that it's our moral imperative to welcome them into our state.
This comes as Texas Governor Rick Perry announced that he will send up to 1,000 National Guard troops to the border to combat illegal children coming into the country.
