Credit Union Robbed in Iowa City

IOWA CITY, IA (CBS2/FOX28) -- Iowa City Police are investigating a Thursday morning credit union robbery.  Police were called to the University of Iowa Community Credit Union on Muscatine Avenue in Iowa City just before 9:45am. 
   The caller told police a man walked into the UICCU carrying a bag and demanded money.  Witnesses say the man was wearing a white mask over his face and was dressed in all black.
   Investigators have released video from a surveillance camera in hopes that someone might have information that would help them find the suspect.  The suspect is described as being approximately 5 foot 7 inches to 6 feet in height and approximately 160 to 200 pounds. The suspect fled in an unknown direction of travel with an undisclosed amount of currency.
   A weapon was not displayed in this incident and no injuries were reported. Iowa City Area CrimeStoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect. Anyone with information about this crime is urged to contact CrimeStoppers at 358-TIPS (8477). All calls are held in strict confidence and anonymity is guaranteed. Individuals providing information do not have to reveal their identity to collect a reward.
