Man Sentenced in Meth Case
DES MOINES, IA (CBS2/FOX28) -- A man convicted of selling methamphetamine in Iowa City and Muscatine was sentenced on Monday to 151 months in prison.
Investigators say that between May and September 2013, Luis C. Preciado, 28, worked with others to sell the drug.
According to a statement from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Iowa, Preciado also sold the drug to an undercover officer seven times.
Police also found meth as well as digital scales, a shotgun and ammunition when they searched his Iowa City home.
Preciado was also ordered to serve five years of supervised release following his imprisonment and pay $100 towards the Crime Victim Fund.
