Secretary Kerry Defies FAA Ban

JERUSALEM, ISRAEL (CBS2/FOX28) - Secretary of state John Kerry has flown into Israel despite a ban by the FAA on flights going into that area of the world.
U.S. and several European carriers stopped flights to Israel Tuesday after a rocket landed near the Tel Aviv airport.
Delta and United Airlines have suspended service between the U.S. and Israel indefinitely.
But Secretary Kerry went anyway because he says he must meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Mahmoud Abbas and UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon to figure out some way to stop the fighting.
During the recent violence, 31 Israelis and 650 Palestinians have died.
