Warbirds Over Iowa Hit the Skies

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- Some smaller than usual aircraft hit the skies Saturday.
The Warbirds Over Iowa took off this morning to benefit the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight.
These remote controlled planes showed off their skills all afternoon.
All of them are replicas of military aircraft.
Pilots with Warbirds Over Iowa say the real fun is getting the exact details down to scale.
Pilots came from multiple states to participate in the event.
They say it was great to see veterans from Honor Flights who once flew the real things take part.
