Sheriff Warns of Storm Damage Scam

BENTON COUNTY, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- The Benton County Sheriff needs your help finding a suspect in  a fraud investigation.
On Tuesday, an elderly woman was convinced to pay nearly $8,000 for electrical work that supposedly was needed at her home in Shellsburg.
The suspect identified himself as Gregory Long.
He posed as a worker from an electic company in an area damaged by Monday's storms.
The Sheriff's Office says be careful of accepting service from someone in an unmarked vehicle.
They also remind you that all legitimate workers will carry a license.
