Unusual Gender Divide in US Senate Race

DES MOINES, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- An interesting gender gap seems to be developing among voters in Iowa's US Senate race.
A new poll from Quinnipiac University shows that Representative Bruce Braley is leading state Senator Joni Ernst 44% to 40%.
Breaking it down, women are backing Braley 47% to 36% while men are supporting Ernst 44% to 40%.
Analysts are quick to point out that the race is far from over.
They say Ernst was nearly unheard of back in March, and now she has all but caught up to Braley's lead.
