Secret Settlements: Hearing Today

DES MOINES, IA (CBS2/FOX28) Wednesday, the Senate Government Oversight committee will continue its probe into those secret settlements. 
Earlier this year it was brought to light that more than half a million dollars was paid to keep more than 20 state employees quiet about why they were fired.
In April, Mike Carroll, the then director of the Department of Administrative Services was fired and Governor Branstad appointed Janet Phipps.
Phipps and Carroll will be among several people testifying before the Senate committee in Des Moines.
