First Asian Cultural Festival Held

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) - It's one of the things that sets the Corridor apart from other parts of Iowa, a wide array of diversity.

On Saturday, diversity was well on display at the McGrath Amphitheater in Cedar Rapids as the Corridor held it's first ever Asian Cultural Festival.

Those with the festival say it's critical for eastern Iowa to retain its diverse population, but at the same time, let the Asian community know the importance and maintain the sense of their culture.
