Baby Left in Car And Dies

COBB COUNTY, GA (CBS2/FOX28) - A Georgia father is charged with murder for leaving his toddler son in a hot car while he went to work.
Last Wednesday, Justin Harris went to work at a home depot. Harris usually leaves his 22-month-old son Cooper at a daycare center on site, but instead, he left Cooper in a rear facing car seat in the blazing sun.
The temperature outside hit 88 degrees that afternoon meaning the temperature inside the car could have hit more than 130 degrees.
According to police, Harris says he noticed Cooper in the back when he was driving home from work and tried to revive him. He claims it was an accident that he left cooper in the car but police say it is all an act.
Harris is now charged with felony murder and cruelty to a child.
