CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) People in the Wellington Height neighborhood in Cedar Rapids can now pick up a book almost anywhere in the neighborhood this summer.

The Wellington Heights Neighborhood Association decorated and installed nearly 20 boxes that act as free mini libraries.

The association hopes the exchange of books will lead to discussions about books which will then promote interaction between those who live in Wellington Heights.

This is just the latest effort as people in the neighborhood work to improve the image and reputation of Wellington Heights.

There is so much good in this neighborhood that is happening all the time, Jennifer Karma, a member of the Wellington Heights Neighborhood Association said. I think some of the darker things get so much light shed on them.

The Neighborhood Association is still looking for more home owners and businesses that would be willing to have a book box place on their property.
