Second Arrest In Waterloo Investigation


WATERLOO, IA (CBS2/FOX28) - Officers with the Waterloo Police Department's VCAT unit made a second arrest during a weapons investigation on Logan Ave. Late Tuesday night, officers arrested Juwon Culpepper ; he is suspected of firing shots into the air on Monday.
After that arrest, police say they saw people who were with Culpepper go into the Logan Avenue Convenience Store.
One of the men who went in was 26-year-old Donquavious Marcellus Davis.
Officers searched the store and found a gun was hidden in a bathroom that was closed for repair work.
After looking at surveillance video, they found that Davis was the one who hid the gun.
On Wednesday night, officers arrested Davis for possessing and carrying a firearm.
Davis is being held in the Black Hawk County Jail without bond.
