Murphy, Blum Lead Loras Polls

DUBUQUE, Iowa (CBS 2/FOX 28) - With less than two weeks to go until the June 3rd primaries, new polls from Loras College have Representative Pat Murphy and businessman Rod Blum leading their respective parties for Iowa First Congressional race.

Murphy currently leads Swati Dandekar and Monica Vernon in the democratic race. 34.7-percent of voters polled say the would likely vote for Murphy. Dandekar and Vernon are both tied at 11.3-percent.

Over in the republican race, Blum leads Cedar Rapids businessman, Steve Rathje. Blum brought in 31.4-percent of voters, while Rathje brought in 15.6-percent.
