Gov. Branstad Signs Apprenticeship Program Bill

ALTOONA, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- Governor Terry Branstad signed a bill into law this morning.
    He says it will help train iowa workers in construction and information technology jobs.
    He signed the bill outside the new Facebook Data Center in Altoona.
    The new law now provides $3 million for apprenticeship programs.
    It will be administered by the Iowa Economic Development Authority.
    The new law also provides an additional $3 million for other job training programs at local community colleges.
