Washington Monument Reopens Monday

Washington D.C. (CBS 2/FOX 28) - After years of work, the Washington Monument is reopening to the public.
The beloved D.C. site was shut down three years ago to undergo extensive repairs following an earthquake.
The 15 million dollar restoration had workers cover the entire building in scaffolding and shielded it from the public.
Visitors will now get to enjoy new exhibits installed at the top of the 555-foot structure where they can enjoy breathtaking views of our nation's capital.
