Johnson County Ambulance Receives Extra Funding

IOWA CITY, Iowa (CBS 2/FOX 28) The Johnson County Ambulance will be receiving some extra funding from Homeland Security.

Representative Dave Loebsack announced the more than $34,000 in funding on Wednesday that will go towards purchasing mobile planning and mapping devices for each of the departments ambulances.

Loebsack says the extra funding will help the countys first responders better serve Johnson County residents.
