Woman Found Alive After Being Stranded For Days

PARK COUNTY, Colo. (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- A Colorado woman was miraculously found alive after being missing for nearly a week.

Kristen Hopkins was stranded in her car for five days without food and water after crashing and then falling off a mountain pass last Tuesday. On Sunday, a driver passing by noticed a red and white umbrella Hopkins had pushed through her broken window, trying to get someone's attention.

Firefighters ended up having to cut her out of the mangled car. She was taken to the hospital where she was reunited with her family.

Hopkins is in stable condition but her family says she will lose both of her feet because of the extent of her injuries, they say they're just grateful she'll survive.
