Drought Fears Being Washed Away

Cedar Rapids, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) - Drought fears are being washed away across the state.
The recent rains have severely lessened the risk of a bad season for our farmers.
The report released Thursday says the impact from the rain has been substantial - with Iowa lowering its risk by 12% in just a week.
Farmers still have a bit of planting left to go, and for that they need a few dry days in a row, so hopefully this weekend will bring them just what they need.
