Sterling Finally Speaks Out
(CBS 2/FOX 28) Monday night, the world will get to hear from Donald Sterling himself about controversial comments he made to his girlfriend a couple weeks ago.
Yesterday, the former Los Angeles clippers owner spoke with Anderson Cooper about the comments.
Speaking to cooper, Sterling said he was baited into making the comments and that they were sparked from jealousy.
The recording triggered a firestorm that led to sterling's lifetime ban from the NBA and a 2.5 million dollar fine.
This comes as the clippers have a new leader.
Richard Parsons, who once headed some of Americas most powerful corporations, is now interim CEO of the team.
He says his goal is to steady the team and bring some stability.
