Police: Homicide Victim Also Burglarized

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- Investigators have arrested a man they say stole items from a woman found dead in her apartment.  32-year-old Bobbie H. Little of Cedar Rapids is charged with 2nd Degree Theft.
Court documents show officers were called to 228 Jacolyn Drive SW where they found the body Shanna Lee Beyhl.  Her death has since been ruled a homicide.
Because of the investigation, authorities accused Little of taking a cell phone, two televisions, a DVD player and a video game system.  Little is accused of transferring the items to others.
During questioning, court documents show Little claimed others had burglarized the apartment and claimed he was going to leave the area to flee to Texas or South Dakota once he was released.
CBS 2 News contacted police Wednesday, they would not comment on whether or not Little is tied to the ongoing homicide investigation.  No one has been charged in connection with Beyhl's death.
