Police Looking For Bank Robbery Suspect

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- Police are asking for help in finding a man who robbed a U.S. Bank Wednesday afternoon.

A man wearing a black hoodie with a black mask over his face walked into the bank at 129 16th Ave. SW just after 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. The suspect showed a handgun and demanded cash, then left the bank.

No one was hurt in the robbery.

Police ask anyone with information on the crime, or who can identify the man seen in these pictures to call the Cedar Rapids Police Department at (319) 286-5400, or Linn County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-CS-CRIME. Callers can remain anonymous.
