UI Names New Journalism School Director

IOWA CITY, Iowa (CBS 2/Fox 28) -- The University of Iowa has selected a new person to lead its School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

David Ryfe, of the University of Nevada, Reno, will take over the school this summer.

He replaces David Purlmetter, who left the university last year to become dean with the School of Media at Texas Tech University.

Julie Andsager is currently serving as interim director of the school.
