Man Escaped from Work Release

DAVENPORT, Iowa (CBS 2/Fox 28) -- Police are searching for a man who escaped last night from a Davenport work release facility.

Tyler Sebastian Lampe, 24, was placed on escape status at 11:30 last night following an unexcused absence from the facility.

He is described as white, with brown hair, hazel eyes, 5'9" in height, and 150 pounds in weight.  He also has a tattoo on his upper left arm.

Lampe was sentenced to 15 years for intimidation with a dangerous weapon and escaping.  He was transferred to work release on January 9, 2014.

Any person with information on the whereabouts of Lampe should contact Davenport Police or the Scott County Sheriff's Department.
