"Final Season" Reunion

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- It's been eight years since filming of "The Final Season" wrapped up in Cedar Rapids during the summer of 2006.

During that time, the crew who helped make the movie did not receive a special screening.

That has now changed as the cast and crew got together at the Collins Road Thatre on Sunday.

The film is based on the Norway High School baseball team and its championship during the school's final year of existence in 1991.

The independent picture took six weeks to film, including many 12-plus hour days.

"The Final Season" would go on to premier in 2007 and would make more than $1 million dollars.
