NBA Addresses Controversy Today

Cedar Rapids, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) This afternoon, the NBA will address the controversy surrounding the Los Angeles Clippers owner.
Over the weekend, audio recordings were released, where Donald Sterling is allegedly heard telling his girlfriend he doesn't want her associating with black people and that he didnt want black people coming to his games.
In a matter of hours, team sponsors began pulling their support.
Companies like CarMax, Red Bull, and Sprint, have announced they are suspending their ties with the team.
A number of NBA legends and fans including Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan and Spike Lee say if sterling did make the comments, he should face consequences.
He's tainting the league. He's tainting America. And when you hear something like that, that's a mentality of a slave master. he sees his players as slaves. So he has to go. Said Lee.
The Clippers coach says that it's been a rough couple of days for the team, but that the players will stick together and get through this.
