Subway Cuts Bread Chemical
Subway is changing the way it makes bread.
The fast food chain says the a chemical that's also used in shoe soles and yoga mats will be completely phased out by the end of next week.
The FDA and USDA approved the use of the ingredient, azodicarbonamide. It's use is banned in many countries overseas.
The sandwhich chain has 26,000 U.S. locations. The company announced it would make the changes after an online petition surfaced about it in Feburary.
