Meth Arrests Made In Fayette County

HAWKEYE, Iowa (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- Fayette County Sheriff's Office deputies on Monday arrested three people accused of selling meth.

Following a two-week investigation, deputies executed a search warrant at 331 Pearl Street in Hawkeye. There, they arrested 30-year-old Ashley Lyn Rochford, of Hawkeye; 46-year-old Kimberly Sue Eckhardt, of Arlington; and 57-year-old Daniel Ray Guyer, or Arlington.

An arrest warrant was also issued for 49-year-old Andrew Nels Marcussen, of West Union.

They are all facing charges of conspiracy to deliver the controlled substance of methamphetamine. The crime is a class "C" felony, and a conviction could bring a sentence of 10 years in prison.

Rochford and Marcussen will also be charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, as a result of the search.

Officials tell CBS 2/FOX 28 News the investigation is still open, and more charges could still be filed.
