Sexual Harassment Alleged at State Vet's Home

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa (CBS 2/Fox 28) -- The Iowa Senate Government Oversight Committee is investigating allegations of sexual harassment and threats from the former head of the State Veteran's Home in Marshalltown.

Former Marketing Director, Lisa Purvis, says the home's former director, David Worley, frequently harassed workers and veterans.

She says she was laid off after she rejected a sexual advance in 2011.

Senate Oversight Committee members are concerned that Governor Terry Branstad allowed Worley to continue to hold his position until he resigned last October.
