More Charges Against Jailed Sex Offender
FAYETTE COUNTY (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- New charges have been filed against a man already convicted of sexually abusing a child.
Fayette County officials filed three charges of 2nd-degree sexual abuse against Timothy Edwin Parker. The Sheriff's Office wrapped up a two-month investigation into Parker after an alleged victim came forward earlier this year. The investigation found Parker allegedly sexually abused a young girl several times between 2008 and 2010.
Parker was already serving a 20-year prison sentence for an earlier conviction. He was taken from Oakdale prison to the Fayette County Jail to make his initial appearance on the new charges. If convicted on all three new charges, Parker could face an additional 75 years in prison.
