Aplington Residents Without Water

APLINGTON, Iowa (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- Residents in Aplington in Butler County are looking to new sources for drinking water tonight.

A water main leak on Thursday caused the city to lose water pressure.

Testing to make sure the water is once again safe to use could take up to several days. Until then, officials are recommending those without service to use bottled water and for those who can still get water from the tap are urged to boil it until notified.
