Iowa Public Transit Asking For More Funding

DES MOINES, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) --  Iowa Public Transit officials are asking for more funding to replace old vehicles.
They're asking for $5 million to start phasing in newer models.
They say 56% of the more than 1,600 buses in use don't meet Federal Transit Administration standards.
They say it would cost at least $120 million to replace the older model vehicles.
