Iowa City Teen to Plea in Deli Stabbing Case

IOWA CITY, Iowa (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- The Iowa City teen accused of stabbing a woman at a restaurant in Iowa City last year will enter her plea on Friday.

18-year-old Heather Stanfield is expected to plead guilty to attempted murder charges in a Johnson County District courtroom.

Police say Stanfield stabbed the victim four times at the Red Pepper Deli and Grill last February.

Attempted murder is a Class B felony and is punishable by 25-years in prison.
