Analysts Warn Gas Prices Could Rise

WASHINGTON, D.C. (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- Analysts are warning that drivers could see a jump in the price of gas in the coming weeks.  The latest figures from gasbuddy.com already show an increase in Iowa of nearly 3-cents in the past week.   Analysts say gas inventories are dropping as refiners use up their winter blend.    They warn supply shortage could produce local price spikes in the coming weeks.  The average price here in iowa currently sits at $3.57 a gallon.
