Facebook Scam

LEWIS COUNTY, WV (CBS 2/FOX 28) --
A new scam is targeting Facebook users.
"Individuals are reporting their page has been cloned and in turn these scammers are seeking out to their friends.  They may tell them they've been in an accident or legal trouble and that plea is an urgent plea for money," said Sheriff Johnny Bevins of the Lewis County Police Department.
Experts say there are ways to protect yourself, though.
First, be careful what information you post on Facebook, including your phone number or address.
Scammers are less likely to target you if they don't know where you are.
   Also, search your name.
If another profile pops up with your pictures, report it to Facebook.
