Cities Handling Snow Cleanup Supply Needs

Corridor cities say they're prepared to handle what Mother Nature throws at us, no matter how long it lasts.
The Cedar Rapids Public Works Department says it still has plenty of cleanup supplies like salt and sand, and the budget for snow removal is still on track, despite a higher-than-average need.
More than 100 people worked to clear the snow after the storm on February 4th.
So far this winter, Cedar Rapids has seen more than two dozen snow and ice events.
City crews are asking residents to keep cars parked off the street when possible to give snow plows easier access.
