Triple Homicide Cold Case Closed

Ottumwa (CBS 2/FOX 28)--
The Wapello County Sheriffs office, Davis County Sheriffs office and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation have resolved the 1984 Triple Homicide of 20-year-old Justin Hook, Jr., 41-year-old Sara Link, and 19-year-old Tina Lade.  Sara Link was the mother of Justin Hook.  Hook and Tina Lade were engaged at the time of the homicide.
Investigators say DNA evidence has linked Andrew Six to the crime.
Justin Hook, Jr. was discovered dead in rural Drakesville on April 13, 1984.
The following day, Sara Link was reported missing.  Her body was discovered on April 16, 1984 in a farm field in rural Eldon.
Tina Lade was found in the same vicinity where Links body had been found on April 18, 1984.  All 3 bodies were beaten with a blunt object.
Andrew Six was a suspect in the investigation in 1984.   During an interview in 1984, Six denied knowing Tina Lade.  He was arrested in April 1987, along with his uncle Donald Petary, for the abduction and murder of Kathy Allen from the Ottumwa area.  Six was executed by lethal injection in Missouri in August of 1997.
