Dyersville to Install Filtration System

DYERSVILLE, IA (AP) - High-levels of radium found in Dyersville drinking water have forced city officials into action. Earlier this month the city approved a $1-million project to install a filtration system to lower the levels of radium in the water.Ingesting excessive levels of radium can result in a higher risk of cancer.City officials say the filtration system is for safety and that the water is still safe to drink.
