Fire Discovered at Flood Vacant Home

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (CBS 2/FOX 28) -- A patrolling officer spotted smoke from a home in southeast Cedar Rapids Monday morning.  Firefighters were called to the home near the intersection of 3rd Street & 13th Avenue SE just after 8:30am.
   A spokesperson for the Cedar Rapids Fire Department tells CBS 2 News the home was damaged in the Flood of 2008, the first fire in a flood-abandoned property in more than a year.
   The home was not part of the city's buyout program.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.
