Cold Weather Precautions

Most of the nation is colder than normal this week.
Experts say if your child wants to play outside, your family will have to take extra precautions.
   First, dress kids in layers.
Waterproof coats and gloves are best on the top with wool underneath.
Cover ears, noses, hands, and feet because they are the most vulnerable to the cold.
You'll also want to check on your children often and bring them inside immediately if they complain of numbness or "pins and needles" because those are the first signs of frostbite.
