Jackson Elementary 20th Anniversary

A Corridor school is celebrating a milestone and having fun doing it.
This fall marks the 20th year since the reopening of Jackson Elementary School.
All week, students have been participating in special events leading up to today's (December 13th) party.
Jackson's principal says the goal was the strengthen the students' sense of community while also teaching them about the school's history.
The original school opened in 1883 and was home to several prominent figures, including Mamie Eisenhower, Wilber and Orville Wright, and Grant Wood.
