Iowa Attorney General Seeks Another Term

DES MOINES, Iowa (KCCI-TV) Democratic Attorney General Tom Miller is set to formally announce plans to seek a ninth term in office.

Miller will hold a series of news conferences Wednesday to declare his candidacy in 2014. He plans announcements in Des Moines, Cedar Rapids and Dubuque.

He is currently serving his eighth four-year term.

Miller was first elected to the post in 1978. Except for one term in the early 1990s, he has held the job ever since. During his time in office, he has focused on public safety and consumer protection.
