Colleges Looking More at Applicants' Social Media
CEDAR RAPIDS (CBS 2/FOX 28) --
A new study from Kaplan says 31% of college admissions officers now check online to learn about applicants.
Last year, only 26% admitted to the behavior.
Experts say this is the highest percentage yet.
The good news, though, the number of college officials who say they've found something online that hurts an applicant's changes dropped 5% this year.
