Adult Literacy Down

CEDAR RAPIDS (CBS 2/FOX 28) --
   It's not just American kids falling behind educationally.  Adults are, too.
   A new global test shows that American reading skills are below the international average.
   The highest country, Japan, scored 296 points on the test.  The U.S. trailed by more than 20 points.
   The same goes for math.
   Adults in America got 253 points, which is lower than 18 other countries.
   Japanese adults got 288.
